If you were to ask me at the age of twelve what I wanted to be when I grow up, I actually would have said a collateral protection insurance (CPI) specialist. Although it was not my first choice (to be a professional baseball player), it was a very close second.
I played baseball from three years old until I graduated college in 2007 with a degree in business management, finance, and economics, from Lenoir Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina. After graduation, I moved to Knoxville, Tennessee, to expand on my knowledge of the collateral protection insurance industry that I had been learning about since 1992, when my father founded ISI. My professional career began in 2008 at ISI (sadly, not as a baseball player) where I gained experience in all areas of the company and really sharpened my knowledge of CPI. In 2017, I began serving as the President.
I am dedicated, probably borderline addicted, to the pursuit of excellence in everything I do, especially in all areas at ISI. ISI is not a job for me, it is a way of life for my entire family, and I strive for this to extend as a way of life for every ISI team member.
My wife, Mary Hannah, daughter, Sommers, and I, live in Knoxville, Tennessee. When I am not working... (who am I kidding, I am always working in some way!)... I am spending time with my family, reading, or riding my bicycle. I aspire to be an expert at acoustic guitar, darts, league softball, ping pong, and photography. However, my trajectory of expertise in these areas is going about as well as my professional baseball career.
